Lagos, Nigeria – The Renewed Hope Ambassadors Lagos - Directorate of Muslim Affairs under the leadership of Mr. Tayo Akinmade, _Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State_ and Ambassador for Renewed Hope Ambassadors Lagos State Renewed Sunday 02 August 2026 paid a courtesy and sensitization visit to NASFAT Society, Lagos State , to mobilize members for the forthcoming elections under the Renewed Hope Ambassadors - Lagos Agenda.
The Director, Alh. Waheed Tella led a delegation, to address NASFAT members and leadership.
KEY MESSAGES
In his address, Alh. Waheed Tella highlighted that:
- Lagos State has an estimated population of 25 million people, with 15 million Muslims .
- If Muslims come out en-masse with their PVCs , we will determine the outcome of the elections and ensure victory for our candidates.
- The Directorate is fully mobilizing support for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors - Lagos Agenda :
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat - _Governor, Lagos State_.
- Members were urged to participate collectively - with their fathers, mothers, and children 18 years and above - to ensure Muslim voices are well represented in governance.
The NASFAT leadership warmly received the delegation and pledged full support. They assured that NASFAT members across Lagos State will be sensitized on voter education, peaceful conduct, and active participation for the endorsed candidates.
The program concluded with prayers for peaceful, credible elections and for continued peace and unity in Lagos State and Nigeria.
