Lagos, Wednesday 26th August 2026. The _Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Lagos Directorate - Muslim Affairs continued its day of engagement with a strategic visit to Daru Falahi.
The delegation was led by Alh. Waheed Tella, Director, Renewed Hope Ambassadors Lagos- Muslim Affairs, under the patronage of Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Director General and Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor.

The team was warmly received by Sheikh Yahayah Agboola, members of staff, teachers, students, and distinguished alumni.
*DISCUSSIONS & RESOLUTIONS*
The Director highlighted the need for inclusiveness of Islamic institutions in government policies and support programs. He called for a stronger partnership between government and faith-based institutions to foster development and good governance.
He further emphasized the demographic strength of Muslims in Lagos and charged the institution to ensure all students 18 years and above obtain their PVCs to participate actively in the upcoming elections.
In his remarks, _Sheikh Yahayah Agboola acknowledged the efforts of the Directorate. He disclosed that the institution has commenced the registration of students 18+ for PVCs. He added that the alumni, who are now Imams and Clerics heading various Islamic congregations, are in full support of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Lagos and the candidates of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Sheikh prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, and appealed for more government intervention and support for Islamic institutions in Lagos.
The Deputy Director, Mr. M.O Sanni, and other members of the delegation also spoke on the need for unity, voter education, and collective effort to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope mandate in 2027.
Both parties exchanged prayers for each other’s success.
The Directorate appreciated Daru Falahi for the warm reception, hospitality, and spiritual backing.
