Lagos, Wednesday 26th August 2026. The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Lagos Directorate - Muslim Affairs today visited Daru Ishad as part of its statewide engagement with Islamic institutions.
The delegation was led by Alh. Waheed Tella, Director, Renewed Hope Ambassadors Lagos - Muslim Affairs, under the patronage and the Director General Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor.
Other members present were Mr. M.O Sanni Deputy Director, Hajia Aloba Idayah, Esq_ Secretary, Alh. Tajudeen Uzamot Media and Alh. AbdulWasiu Supervision & Monitoring.
the delegation met with Sheikh Ibrahim Saheed Olawunmi, the leadership, teachers and a large turnout of students.
KEY MESSAGE
Speaking to the gathering, Alh. Tella stated that the visit was to seek prayers and collaboration for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat.
He reiterated the demographic strength of Muslims in Lagos and charged all students who have attained 18 years to come out en-masse to collect their PVCs.
“We have the numbers. Let us use our franchise to elect leaders that will serve us better. Your PVC is your power.”he said.
Sheikh Ibrahim Saheed Olawunmi appreciated the The Directorate Muslim Affairs for remembering the institution. He emphasized to the students the importance of PVC collection and active participation in the electoral process to aid the election of preferred candidates.
The Sheikh led fervent prayers for the candidates, for peace and prosperity in Lagos and Nigeria, and assured the Directorate of Daru Ishad support and mobilization for 2027.
The Directorate also prayed for the continued success of Daru Ishad.
