A leading governorship aspirant in Oyo State, AKK, has declared that he is divinely positioned to lead the state into a new era of transformation, stating that he is “God-sent to fix Oyo State” ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking during a visit to the AKK Aseyori Group at Aba Otun in Ona-Ara on Saturday, January 31, 2026, AKK told supporters that Oyo State requires bold, practical, and visionary leadership — not politics as usual.
Mobile Clinic Initiative with Tele-Consultation Support
AKK unveiled plans for a Mobile Clinic Initiative to be implemented if elected governor in 2027.
According to him, the programme will deploy fully equipped mobile medical units across all local government areas to provide basic consultations, maternal and child healthcare, routine screenings, preventive care, and health education.
He explained that the initiative will go beyond physical visits by integrating telemedicine services. Residents will be able to contact certified doctors directly by phone, consult medical professionals via WhatsApp, and receive preliminary medical assessments remotely.
“This hybrid approach ensures that even when the mobile clinic is not physically present, citizens can still access medical advice and support. Healthcare must reach the grassroots. Government must go to the people,” he said.
Industrialisation and Agricultural Parks
AKK also outlined plans to stimulate economic growth through strategic industrialisation.
His proposed administration will establish industrial parks in each senatorial district and agricultural and agro-processing parks across local government areas.
He noted that the initiative would encourage manufacturing, promote value addition, generate employment, and increase internally generated revenue without imposing excessive taxes on residents.
Referencing the iconic Cocoa House in Ibadan, he described it as a symbol of visionary economic planning by past regional leaders.
According to him, Oyo State must return to building enduring institutions capable of transforming the economy.
Support for Small Businesses
AKK further pledged to strengthen small and medium-scale enterprises through structured support programmes for traders and artisans, capacity-building initiatives for entrepreneurs, and interest-free loans for businesses.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. When they grow, the state grows,” he affirmed.
