Season of Hope and New Beginnings in Ikd West as the Executive Chairman distributes Free Books to all public schools.

This Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, Honorable Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju ( S.K.O), stepped away from the council chambers and into the vibrant, hopeful world of our local public schools.  The distribution of free exercise books to every public school in the constituency.

He personally handed over the books, sharing handshakes, words of encouragement, and warm smiles.

The team visited the public schools in ikorodu west From LG primary school Ipakpdo to LG primary school Majidun, down to C&S primary school 1&2.

But this was far more than a distribution exercise, it was a festival of potential.

So far more than 25,000 exercise books have been distributed from a total stock  70,00 which are intend to benefit all the primary schools in ikorodu west.
The air, usually filled with the rhythmic chants of lessons, was electric with a different kind of energy. You could see it in the bright, curious eyes of the pupils, sitting a little straighter in their uniforms. You could hear it in the whispered excitement as the materials were unveiled.

"For many of these young scholars, a new exercise book isn’t just stationery. It’s a pristine canvas. It’s the first page of a compelling story, the clean slate for a complex equation, the birthplace of a future scientist’s hypothesis."

However, Hon. S.K.O while addressing the students, "We didn’t just oversee the process, he immersed himself in it. Moving from school to school".  In this simple act, a powerful message was sent You are seen. Your education matters. Your future is our priority. By lifting the burden of procuring these basic tools, the council is not only supporting parents but also removing a subtle barrier to learning. It ensures that no child’s ability to participate fully in class is hindered by a lack of resources" he added.

The Chairman’s address to the students went beyond gratitude. He spoke directly to their potential, urging them to see these books not as an end gift, but as the starting point for their own greatness. He charged them to guard their books with pride and to fill them with knowledge, discipline, and big dreams.

In his words, echoed by dedicated school principals and teachers, was a collective vow: "We are investing in you because we believe in you."

As the last book was handed out and the cheerful noises of the school day resumed, one thing was clear. Hon. S.K.O and his team had done more than distribute paper and cardboard. They had planted seeds of confidence, dignity, and academic ambition.

The true success of this program won’t be measured in the number of books distributed, but in the stories that will be written within them, the ideas that will be sketched on their pages, and the futures that will be built, one word, one number, one dream at a time.

Ikorodu West is not just building infrastructure; it is building intellects. And the foundation has never looked stronger.
