The Olokun Priest,honoured with the prestigious iyalaje General of Oodua People's Congress New Era, six years ago, explained that her remarkable contributions and impacts she has been making in the OPC New Era saw to her conferment with the title,she added that she has been a Frontliner in the areas of positive deliberations, development and progress of Yorubaland in general.
" Am a staunch donor to all laudable programmmes of the organization, things that have to do with progress and uplifting and always to ensure forward movement that will ensure that OPC New Era takes its rightful place among comity of organization in Oodua land".
She described her philanthropic gestures as one that earned her the title, and as someone who loves to project and promote yoruba culture and traditions said " I love seeing that Yorubaland is always first everywhere and God has been using me as a channel of succour for the less privilege in the society. I am happy that OPC New Era has no cause to regret bestowing the title on me and we all have been progressing ".
Yeye Oladehinde who has been playing many roles in the celebration of Olokun festival noted her love for traditional religions in Yorubaland, especially ones that have to do with riverine deities and worshipping made her to constantly contribute financially to the Olokun festival usually celebrated every August in Lagos State.
" On many occasions, I sent money to the organisers to celebrate the festivals. I also have vision to shed light on traditions and culture on social media so as to further enhance its spread across the world" the Olokun Priest stated.
